About the water and the ritual
What is Water of Repentance?
Blessed spring water in a glass bottle, meant for a simple ritual of repentance at home: naming your sins, truly regretting them and washing your hands during prayer. It is a devotional object – a sign, not a means.
Is it holy water from a church?
No. I, Gabriel, bless the water according to my own personal spiritual practice. It is not a church sacramental, and SpiritNova is not affiliated with any church or religious organisation. If you are looking for church holy water, please contact your parish.
Will the water forgive my sins?
No. Forgiveness is not in the bottle – in my faith it is with God and depends on the sincerity of your heart. The water is an aid: it gives remorse a shape and a moment in which what is hard to say can be said.
Is this like an indulgence?
No. Forgiveness cannot be bought. You are buying water, glass, cork, a card and postage – the ritual is yours. The prayer and the instructions are a free download, and you can do the ritual without our water.
Does it replace confession?
No. If you are a believer and your church has the sacrament of reconciliation, the ritual does not replace it. It can be a good preparation – it helps you name what you want to confess.
Do I have to be religious?
No. The ritual is built on prayer, but the gesture of remorse – naming a fault and washing your hands – speaks to everyone. If the word „God“ doesn’t fit you, speak to whatever is greater than you.
What if I don't feel anything?
It happens, and it is not a failure. The ritual is not about a feeling but about a decision: to name and to regret. The feeling sometimes comes later – or it comes as the apology you finally made.
How often should I do the ritual?
Whenever you feel something weighing on you. It is not about frequency but about sincerity. One bottle lasts about eight to ten rituals.
Can I do the ritual with my partner or family?
Yes. Some people wash their hands together and each says their own. Explain it to children simply: „We say what we did wrong and ask for forgiveness.“ Children must not drink the water.
About the product
Can I drink the water?
No. The water is not for drinking or cosmetic use. It is a devotional object, not a food, cosmetic or medicine. Use it only to wash your hands during the ritual.
Where does the water come from and who bottles it?
Spring water from Slovakia, bottled by hand in small batches. Every bottle carries its filling date and batch number.
How long does it keep?
Keep it closed, cool and dark. We recommend using it within 12 months of the filling date.
Is it suitable as a gift?
Yes. The packaging is designed so you don’t need to wrap it: glass, cork, a prayer card, a sturdy box. On request we include a handwritten note with your message – write it in the order notes.
What is in the box?
A 100 ml bottle with a cork stopper and seal, a card with the prayer of repentance, printed instructions for the ritual and a sturdy box.
Why isn't it free?
Glass, cork, seal, printing, the box, postage and time cost money. The price covers them and leaves something for my family. The prayer and the instructions are a free download.
Ordering and delivery
Where do you ship?
To all countries of the European Union. We ship from Slovakia, usually within two working days of receiving payment. We do not ship outside the EU for now.
How can I pay?
By card or PayPal. Prices are final, in euros.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, no reason needed – if the bottle is unopened and the seal intact. Opened bottles cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. See Returns and refunds for details.
